JTOL, the only other issue I had with the veTEC was when changing to a newer sdk.
With the latest 55 series, ours looks like this. Some older (known to work) ones we also kept, just in case.

I'm hopeless with git. A question which comes up quite often is how to roll back to a previous version.
Using your scripts, would it be possible to publish the steps we would take to install a previous version of INDI/kstars?
e.g. Let's say I have kstars 3.6.9 installed and wish to revert to kstars 3.6.8.

I am trying to make both HDMI/vnc available

Not sure about on a pi, but on a mini pc, this gives both dummy resolution for vnc and output to a physical screen:

You can change resolution to any one of the dummy resolutions so long as your physical screen can handle it. 1600x900:50Hz seems to work with most modern screens.

PHD2 has a 'guiding assistant' which estimates the seeing and goes on to recommend different settings e.g. for minimum guiding pulses in RA and DEC.
I wonder if something similar could be made available with the EKOS internal guider?
