The package was available for installation in Discover, so I ran that.
All now working after a restart.
Tks to all !
I will leave this open and not resolved for a day, pending confirmation from others.

Just to mention that EQMOD crashes in Kstars as well. Hoping for a fix soon.

And details of /usr .... /libindidriver.so.2 show that it was loaded yesterday morning during the update which caused all the issues.
Have now backed up the whole system (lesson learned).

So in order to see if the library was present, I did
sudo locate libindidriver
[sudo] password for richardh:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libindidriver.so.2
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libindidriver.so.2.0.0
It isn't.
However, a search on the ubuntu packages site revealed libindidriver1, v 1.9.4
sudo apt search libindidriver1
Sorting... Done
Full Text Search... Done
libindidriver1/jammy 1.9.4+dfsg-1 amd64
Instrument-Neutral Device Interface library -- driver library
I'm reluctant to install, in case I cause more problems.
Any advice pls?

Which is odd - because I had it working before!
Cannot now remember where I got it from ..
My original post (#1 in this thread) was about shared library failure - will try to follow that up.

This is the third time of attempting to post this: it doesn't seem to want to stick:
I tried anyway with this result:
sudo apt-add-repository https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/mutlaqja/ppa/ubuntu jammy main

If I can get the revised EQMOD from the ppa over the net, what then?

Hi Nou
Hoping to update to Kstars 3.6.1.
Would this be correct:
pi@Richard-RPi:~ $ ls
astro-soft-build 'Build single Indi drivers' Documents Light PHD2 rpi-clone sdrangel.wiki USB
astro-soft-stable build-welle.io-Desktop-Debug Downloads Music Pictures rtl8812au SSD Videos
$ cd astro-soft-stable
$ git pull origin
??
This has worked so well I don't want to mess it up!
Thanks

Hi Marc
I've had sct-colim working well in Manjaro for a year or so and now want to port it to my Raspberry OS 64 to use on the mount. Unfortunately the gtk-2-dev package is no longer available. Can the program be changed to use gtk-3?
Many thanks
