Hi,

I now realized that scheduler uses KStars date and time, and not the computer date and time. Now I know.
It turns out I paused KStars clock, so the scheduler didn't start, obviously.

It would be useful the scheduler warns when the KStars clock is stopped.

Thank you all for your help.

Thanks Jasem,

I attached the esl and esq files.

I recreated the esl fle because I didn't save it that day, but I created in the same way I have done the first time.
I have no log file saved.

Last night I programmed the scheduler, but it didn't start at all.

This issue has happened to me several times, but I could not figure out what was the cause.

Here is a screenshot of the scheduler waiting to start this morning.

I suspect the problem comes with jobs that start at a given time, instead of ASAP.

You can use Stellarmate to run INDI, and connect with your current Mac with KStars via ethernet.
That's the way I do it.

Forget my last message. I needed to delete userdb.sqlite.backup also, and now it works.

Hi,

I installed version 3.6.4 for OSX and when I try to add an optical train ('+' button) Kstars closes without any message.

I tried to delete userdb.sqlite file, but this didn't change anything.

Any advice is welcome.

I notice the problem described in this link: ST8 Read Noise

The solution seems straight forward, and is described also in the link. Just disconnect cooling during readout phase, but I don't know if this must be done in the SBIG Linux driver or in the INDI driver.

I don't know if this is related, by I'm having issues with some of my devices connected in a hub.

I work around these problems, unplugging and plugging again the USB cable of each device.
In previous versions of StellarMate OS there are not such issues.

I have a similar issue after uptating to Stellarmate OS 1.7.1

In my case, plate solving never ends, and if I press "Stop" it hang during 1 or 2 minutes. Eventually it recovers, but not always.

KStars 3.5.9 (or 3.5.8 the issue is the same).

For an automatic observation (without a human intervention) I thing it's better to install Ekos int the remote site, since you eliminate one point of failure (internet connection).
Also, this allows you to connect from different locations/computers without having to install/configure Ekos in many computers.

On the other hand, the indi webserver option provides more security if multiple users have access to the telescope, avoiding any uauthorized user mess up the remote computer.

Take a look to Indihub (indihub.space) , and may give a try to taste what indi webserver can deliver.
