I'm considering purchasing the ZWO ASI533MM-P to replace my current QHY 294M-Pro which is going to have to be sent in for repairs because of how un-reliable the USB interface is.
Anybody using ZWO ASI533MM-P with INDI/EKOS? How is the reliability? I know I'm asking a lot for a new camera, I'm just anxious after having so many problems with my 294M.

So I see on the QHY tab on the INDI control panel there is a "Read Mode" row and you can set it to either read mode 0 or 1.
Does switching between read mode 0 and read mode 1 work, or is there additional configurations needed? I'm waiting for the weather to clear up before I can experiment on my own
In the control panel, the size of the pixels doesn't seem to change like I would expect it to on the "Image info" tab like I would expect it to when changing to read mode 1. It stays at 4.63 um, which is the correct size for read mode 0...

I have Astropi3 running on my RPI4 with INDI nightlies on UBUNTU-mate 20.04.1.
INDI doesn't recognize my camera. lusb lists it as a USB2.0 Hub:

That is awesome!
Unfortunately I know how bad I am at completing projects like that at this moment in my life. Although I did manage to get a custom 3d printed 2.5 in feather focuser powered by an arduino and 28BYJ-48 stepper motor to work perfectly... although I never finished designing a case for it... but it's on my 80 mm Stellarvue APO and it works great with EKOS!
I'd also prefer to do gut a Celestron AVX that I have, rather than the CGEM.
Did you manage to get it completely working? Is this a popular project with friendly support available?

I think the subject says it all, I am not happy with the way my CGEM is guiding with my EdgeHD 800 and thin OAG, so considering upgrading my mount.

So just got a Celestron Focus Motor for SCT installed and calibrated using the hand controller.
I got it working last night using the USB and a separate power supply just as the clouds began to roll in.
I couldn't ever get the focuser to "connect" in Ekos using only the Aux port.
Under the "Profile Editor" -> "Focuser" section, I selected "Celestron SCT"
I THINK I also tried selecting "Celestron SCT" under the aux drop down, but am not sure. I think when I tried that I was having communication problems with the mount (incorrectly configured serial connections;)
Is there a different driver that I need to install on my Pi 4 running astroberry?
Bottom line is how do I configure my Celestron focuser in the profile editor to work via the aux port of my CGEM controlled by ekos via the hand controller?

I am experiencing very odd behavior after configuring my Adafruit Ultimate GPS HAT for Raspberry Pi.
After editing /etc/default/gpsd to disable "USBAUTO" and correct the device to "/Dev/ttyS0" I get very odd behavior when running gpsmon.
gpsmon shows the correct location, but then switches to a location in Poland and alternates back to the correct location every second.
Any idea what's causing this?
When I do a "sudo killall gpsd" it corrects itself and only shows my current location.
However when I remove the service with a "systemctl disable gpsd" and reboot, I don't get the correct location (I get something like /tmp/gps something)
I think there is a script somewhere telling gpsd to default to Poland, but I can't find it. It's not in the /etc/default/gpsd or in /etc/rc.local
Any idea what's going on?
Also, how do I get the system time to update to the correct gps time?

I am trying to get PHD2 working with INDI drivers for Spinel Camera Module IMX290

Unfortunately it hangs when taking dark shots.
Seems to work fine in windows and shows up as a WDM device and seems to work fine in PHD2 (haven't operationally tested yet)
I can take snapshots in the linux command line and am using the indi_v4l2_ccd driver.
Reviews for the module indicate it works in linux at 1280x720 or less on the INDI driver, which I assume was the indi_v4l2_ccd. Also, PHD2 reports the wrong pixel size.
