Hi, I've been trying different drivers and found I can use just the standard SW eqmod driver, and it works fine with the AZ-GTi using my prolific serial cable.
I don't need to use the AZ-GTi INDI driver at all.
Thanks, Darren.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I could use the network connection as described, but it's a hassle as my mount keeps losing its hotspot settings, and the wireless will sometimes disconnect the mount.
That's why I wanted the wired or serial connection, stability.
I'll have another look online and see if there is another way around it.
But a wired connection is what I need, I've been using it in AZ mode just because of the wired connection option.
Cheers, Darren.

I think INDI is missing a driver for the SkyWatcher AZ-GTi mount to be used in wired EQ mode.
Or maybe I'm wrong, I can see 3 drivers
wireless EQ driver
Wired AZ driver
Wireless AZ driver
Thanks, Darren.

Hi, Just wondering which Driver I should use for my AZ-GTi mount, as I want to use it in Wired EQ mode,
I can only see drivers for Wireless EQ mode.
The mount is a nightmare for losing its hotspot settings, and I mount my StellarMate directory to tie mount, so i'd rather a direct cable.
I can see it has a wired AZ mode driver, but no wired eq
Thanks in advance for any help, Darren

I've been having the same problem, StellarmateX_OS getting stuck at the splash screen,
I can still remotely log into when its stuck at the splash screen, so something is working.
If I unplug my HDMI display before booting, it boots normally.

Any news on when indi-full will be ready to install?
Indi-bin doesn’t seem to have all the drivers?
I figured all would be ready for 22.04 if I left it a month?
Or should I just go back to 21.10?
It definitely does not install properly on Ubuntu mate 22.04
It keeps saying it’s missing libindidriver1

Hi all, is anyone using the QHY268M camera?
My PC can’t seem to find mine.
I wasn’t sure the camera was working as it’s new, so I installed the drivers and NINA on another PC just to test the camera works ok, which it does?
is there anything I need to do or install for my AstroPC to detect it.
thanks, Darren.

I've put a request in on the INDI github page for the driver alteration for FocusABSPosN from 200,000 to 2,000,000, will see what happens?
the max position is FocusMaxPosN[0].value = 2097152; so not sure why someone set the max focus position to 200000 anyway?
FocusRelPosN[0].min = 0.;
FocusRelPosN[0].max = 50000.;
FocusRelPosN[0].value = 0;
FocusRelPosN[0].step = 1000;
FocusAbsPosN[0].min = 0.;
FocusAbsPosN[0].max = 200000.;
FocusAbsPosN[0].value = 0;
FocusAbsPosN[0].step = 1000;
FocusMaxPosN[0].value = 2097152;

Hi all, is there any way of getting a driver altered or altering/making my own driver?
I use a RASA with a sesto senso Focuser, KStars will let me enter a max focuser steps/position of 200,000.
My focus position in my RASA is around 900,000 to 1,100,000, therefore I'm royally screwed.
The 200,000 limit needs another Zero to 2 million.
I asked this question last year, but got no real solution, is there anyway around this issue, or should I just use NINA/SGP?,
I'd rather not use either but Kstars is now useless to me, unless I replace both my £300 Sesto Senso Focusers with some cheaper ones that don't use the 10:1 Microfocuser
this was never an issue the year before last, I've been using kstars for 4 or more years, the issue was introduced in a driver INDI update sometime last year.
Thanks in advance, Darren.
