Hello,
I recently captured a load of new bias, flats and darks for my ASI1600MM. Afterwards I saw that the frame numbers for the bias and flat frames didn't increment. Since I didn't record the timestamp in the filename, it overwrote the previous frame with the latest one. Instead of 450 frames, I had 8... great for disk space but not fantastic otherwise.
The dark frame numbers in the filename incremented fine. I've just tried again and it still happens, log attached for what it's worth.
I'm going to capture them again with a timestamp which is an effective workaround, but does anyone know what I've done wrong?
Thanks,
Ralph
I'm having weird difficulties getting my mount to the right position. It's a Sky Watcher AzEq6 GT with an RPi3+ running Stellarmate sitting scope-top. I'm running KStars 3.1.0 on Linux Mint 19 connected to the Pi over the network.
If I tell EQMod to track something, it goes to the right part of the sky. I then go to Ekos and click Slew to Target. It solves and slews a bit, then solves and slews a bit more. It keeps repeating this over and over, maybe never getting there. I've attached a screen capture of a typical Slew to Target.
Any ideas where to start with this? Is my mount toast or in need of some TLC?
