Same issue with optical trains n 3.6.3. Have you solved it?

Hi
I have a very basic question: how can I create Optical Trains?
When I have the Simulators profile, I can edit the Primary Train but, with all of the equipment connected, I cannot add my gear.
If I instead choose My Astro gear profile, where I have added previously my gear, I cannot access the train drop list, nor open the Optical Trains window.
I also saw the video on Optical Trains, but after creating a new profile, the Optical Trains window doesn't open.
I'm on MacOS Ventura.

Alfredo

Can somebody please confirm if Microtouch focuser can be used on M1 Macs with Ekos? I haven't been able to (even with the driver I posted on the first message of this thread a little more than a year ago).
Thanks
Alfredo

To include this on the documentation would be a very good idea.
Or could the driver be included in the installation file for Mac?

Well, I had the issue of KStars not detecting the microtouch focuser under Mac, while it worked fine under Linux. Here’s how I solved it.
First of all, the key was to download the USBtoUART Bridge VCP drivers from Silicon labs for MacOS:
CP210x VCP Mac OSX Driver from
www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers
Once installed, KStars 3.5.6 (under Mac Monterrey) detected the Microtouch focuser in Ekos. Hopefully it will be useful for other users.

Thanks Jasem. Second option did the trick. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

Hi
This question may have been asked before, but nevertheless I cannot find a way to grapically frame an object indicating the rotation of the FOV. I can specify the coordinates, but I'd like to rotate the rectangle to make the desired image composition.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Alfredo

Well, only the mount has a serial to USB adaptors. The focuser and the guide camera come through USB 2.0
Any ideas?
