This worked fine for me.

I'm assuming you went through the process of creating a catalog (and inputting the data), then selecting the More button and import from CSV and choosing Select/Read?
I am working on trying to map the entries to the associated DB ones and if successful, will link to it here.

I think I got it imported and all the associated fields correctly mapped (RA/DEC for sure) and have it available for download on my site . You can give it a try and see if it works.
I'm looking at other catalogues to also try this with that won't duplicate (too badly) current ones. This definitely is a learning process.

I get "No permission to download" there. Is this intended? I prefer not to create an account just to download a single file.

Apparently one of my staff (he's learning to run his own site also) got to "tweaking" my permissions for guests thinking he was on his site.
The guest download ability has been switched back to what it was.
That's why I have had it as guests can download. I host a few files (like PIPP) that are direct download, but I would rather not have people just join to download a file but to participate on the site.
You should be able to download it now.

Thanks a lot, Tracy, the download now works for guest users. However, I am unable to import it into KStars. I go to "import catalogue", select the "Lynds Bright Nebula.kscat" file and get an error message:

Any idea what might have gone wrong?

The only thing I can think of is that the DB is password protected... but that should have only been from edits.
I'll check it again and if that's what it is I'll unlock it.

Give it a try again. I'm having to redo the reset of them to. Apparently when I was using the DB editor, it corrupted something in the format.
This one is a direct export out of the DB. I verified that it worked after removing it from my catalog listing and then adding it back.
Let me know if it doesn't.

Thanks, Tracy, this one imports well. Unfortunately I think there's something wrong with the catalogue as ALL objects have RA of 00h:xx or 01h:xx. Also, they are all listed as Mag 0 or Mag 1 objects.

Without checking the LBN catalogue, I bet these nebulae are spread out over the sky. With your version they are all located along a narrow line in Pisces.

Going to be a mapping issue. Right now we don't have any internet and I was running off a generator when that was being done (extension cord ran to computer).
I'll look at it again. That was from the data that was provided in this link. Also I'm having to work off cell phone WiFi on multiple computers so it's a little slow.
Thanks for letting me know.

EDIT:
Found issue. Imported using degrees instead of hours on the RA.
New one looks better. Magnitude is based upon the data that was given in that list. If it is wrong, then not anything I can do about it without compiling from new Viziers data, and it doesn't always have the alternate name for it.

And just a note.. right now they all show gaseous nebula. If I have time (storm recovery has kept me busy) I will try to go back into them and then modify the entries to reflect what target type they actually are. I need to do that on all of them, but other than manual intervention (for me) I don't have an automated way of doing that.
