Hi all
I was on a demo yesterday... and SM hangs at each plate solving. ONE time... one time it successed. I've tried everything, astap, changing evrything, gain, duration...
Here are the fits image : drive.google.com/file/d/1meHQQOj8vCCu-MH...hId/view?usp=sharing
does someone can try with his SM ? To see if it hangs ?
Ekos -> simulator -> align -> load & resolv
I just solved it with astrometry.net and got the following results:

Starting Internal StellarSolver Astrometry.net based Engine with the 4-SmallScaleSolving profile. . .

Solve Log Odds: 90.6354

Field center: (RA,Dec) = (313.357, 50.2133) deg.
Field center: (RA H:M:S, Dec D:M:S) = (20:53:25.724, +50:12:47.933).
Field is: (5914.14, -17795.9) deg from search coords.

Based on this, it looks like your pixel scale is right in the middle of the estimated range saved in the fits file and the saved position information is just a little off, but not too bad. It solved with index file 4111. Do you have that file or ones close in scale to that one on your system?
Hi Rob. thanks, but I've still do this... but when I'm using SM, I don't have internet.
So I try to figure out why plate solving has not worked yesterday.
The idea is to solve this with YOUR stellarmate :
Ekos -> one profil -> align -> load & resolv
It works in my house with a new frsh kstars, so I think Plate solving was not good because history/model was not resetted.
I was not using the internet when I was plate solving your image, that was a local astrometry.net solve. I didn't use the stellar mate but it should work exactly the same on stellar mate since its the same program with the same files. My question was whether or not you have the suggested index files on your system (stellar mate I assume) you would need in order to solve the image with local astrometry.net.
