I find the issue with my DSLR , it' s comming from the power on !! each time i launch Stellarmate & DSLR i have to power on it manually. My observatory is at few km , so quite difficult to power it each time. Also each time stallarmate requires the CCD size an pixels size . even i do it in INDI requirements .
If you are getting asked every time you connect, then either the database is corrupted or you have permission issues. For database issues:
1. Try to click on the "Trash icon" next to the camera name in the capture model to clear all config. If that does not work.
2. Delete the ~/.local/share/kstars/userdb.sqlite file. You will lose many KStars settings but the database will be recreated.
Check the permission of the userdb.sqlite file, it should be owned by stellarmate user. If it is owned by root, then it must be changed back to stellarmate. This will not happen unless you start KStars as root, which should never be done. At any rate, these are my thoughts on this problem.
Hi all,
it works in local when i launch ekos kstar from my RPI.
But it doesn't work in remote mode from my win10 PC at home ?
i will try to reinstall win10 Kstars suite i think that it' s coming from the installation . keep you in the loop .
