Hello all,
I have a Celestron CPC1100 GPS telescope and I have a PC attached to the telescope fork arm that is running Linux Mint 19.1 x64 with INDI and HNSKY installed. I am working on a way to control the telescope remotely. I am able to connect to the telescope via HNSKY and control it through INDI, but I was wondering if there is a way to slew the telescope via command line without using HNSKY directly..
What I mean is, once my scope is aligned, I open a terminal and simply type something like: "slew M81" or maybe "goto M81"
Is something like this possible?
Thanks

Hello all,
I am using a fresh INDI install on Linux Mint 19.1 x64. I have set up wireless control of my Celestron NexStar 127SLT using a skyportal wireless adapter in "direct" mode using the Nexstar evolution driver. It seems to work, but I've noticed that the slew rate of the telescope really slows down when the scope starts to get close to it's target.
Is this rate adjustable anywhere?
Thanks for your guidance.

I am using the INDI server GUI with "indi_celestron_gps" as the driver. If I start INDI client and connect via ethernet with the IP and port provided by the dongle, it seems to connect, but I can't slew my telescope from KStars or Stellarium. The scope is aligned from the hand controller. Am I using the correct driver?
Any help would be appreciated!

I wonder if there is anyone here who could help me. I am trying to use INDI to connect to my telescope's wireless signal. I have a Celestron Nexstar 127SLT telescope. It uses a single-arm alt-az mount. I have a Celestron SkyPortal WiFi dongle attached to the scope's "aux" port and the hand controller connected to its port. The SkyPortal adapter provides a wireless signal identified as..
