I was playing around with gphoto2.
I got a remote dark frame with following settings:
Switch to bulb mode => gphoto2 --set-config shutterspeed=0
Take a remote dark frame => gphoto2 --set-config bulb=1 --wait-event=0s --set-config bulb=0 --wait-event-and-download=2s
How am I gonna make this work with Ekos? I use gphoto2 lib in Ekos for my EOS 450D.

Hello Herrhausen,
thanks for your information.
I would like to create the dark frame remotely if possible.
Can the internal shutter not be used for the dark frame?
The EOS 450D can generate a dark frame itself for noise reduction and process this with the current image.
Should it not be possible to use this function in Ekos?
If the EOS 450D has an internal shutter it can be used for a dark frame. Is the internal shutter not usable for the 450D?

I think the Eos 450D has an internal shutter. It is a Canon DSLR.
As I understand it, Ekos capture take a dark frame without the need to use a dust cover. Is that correct?
I have taken a dark frame and the fits file is also in the directory "~/.local/share/kstars/darks". But it is not a dark frame. It is a light frame! What am I doing wrong?
