Ok. I'll let you know how it goes. I think it would open up use of INDI to a larger audience at least.

Oleg,
Thanks, yes I’ve seen the supported list but while I understand I could convert to use one or more of those, I have an existing set of commercial software which does not directly support INDI.
- MaxIM DL: www.cyanogen.com/maxim_main.php
- ACP: acpx.dc3.com/
- Personally developed addins to MaxIM that I use for variable star/exo-transit analysis.
So while I could convert, I just simply don’t want to
Has there been discussion of providing a ASCOM->INDI translator? If not, I would be happy to start it up as I have some experience writing ASCOM drivers.
Thanks,
Dean

So what I REALLY want is to use my existing Astro software on windows but connect remotely to a Raspberry PI running Ubunutu/INDI that is connected to the scope/camera/focuser hardware in my remote observatory. I have the PI setup and running the simulators for the device types I need.
So... if I can ask Santa for another present: Where's the ASCOM -> INDI adapter?
I've seen wINDI from CloudMakers but that works the opposite. I'm looking for a ASCOM Driver to connect to an INDI Device.
Thanks,
Dean
P.S. I'm not particular to Window or Linux or Mac, I use (and code for) all of them but I have an investment in a number of Windows astronomy apps that I'd like to continue to use.

Thanks! I knew it had to exist!
I've just downloaded it and built it under VS2015. I'll be starting to use it immediately
Thanks again,
Dean

Hello,
I'm relatively new to the INDI world so I'm posting here to see if there is a solution completed or development in progress on either a Windows client library. It seems that it's possible to build libindi under cygwin but I'm specifically looking for a c# managed .NET client library.
If nothing is in the works on this... and it's something that the community would deem useful... then I'd like to start a project to accomplish this.
Thanks,
Dean
