INDI Library supports Astrophyics range of mounts. Due to the evolution of AP mounts over the years, the protocol used to communicate with the mount naturally evolved. INDI provides three drivers you can select from to best suit your mount.

The meridian flip feature is handled by the AstroPhysics GTO controller. The INDI driver does not handle that logic for these mounts. For this to work properly you would need to be sure to do the following:
