I doubt it, I got the USB Product ID for the K-70 included in the Pentax library - there's no KP USB Product ID at the moment. The USB Product ID can be found if you connect your KP to a linux machine and type lsusb at the command prompt - then it shows USB Vendor and Product ID as ID vvvv:pppp.

That's the first step, then Andras Salamon most likely needs to update PKTriggerCord - a Windows/Linux program able to remote control your Pentax camera, you can download it here and test it on your KP: pktriggercord.melda.info/
It can be done, the question is the timeframe.
I use Stellarmate on a Raspberry Pi together with my K-70, it does require that I set exposure time and ISO on the camera before I start shooting, it cannot be set from KStars yet. Otherwise it works.
