Hello Pawel,

Welcome to INDI forums! I'd start by checking the power (both to the mount and rpi4).

I'm sure the power to the Pi is always uninterrupted, but the mount's power supply acts weird sometimes, I'll investigate it further (though I'm rather sure that the power to the mount didn't go out, I was actively monitoring everything). I tried to replicate this issue today by using a camera and guide cam simulators (both internal and PHD2) and I couldn't encounter this issue. The only change was that I wasn't even touching my hand controller; it it possible that using a hand controller and Ekos at the same time could cause the mount to behave weirdly like I described in the first post?

I tested this mount again on today's clear night, and I didn't encounter the issue! It seems that I shouldn't use my hand controller (I think I had problems because of the parking/zeroing feature, but now I'm not going to use the HC at all anyways) if Ekos is communicating with the mount at the same time

This last sentence confuses me. I was thinking that the GEM28 will need the HC always connected to be used with INDI driver. But from your last message it seems that is not needed?. Please, could you clarify the situation?. Thanks a lot!
