I´m triying to connct my new Onstep Mini2. The contoller and USB is the Teensy 3.2.
It comes at indi as /dev/ttyACM0. I Select that but the connection will not be established.
At the console : cat /dev/ttyACM0 is also hanging. No response.
And:
ls -l /dev/ttyACM0
crw-rw-rw- l root dialout 166, 0 Mär 15 10:55 /dev/ttyACM0
What can I do ?
By the way, Onstep and Ascom is working at my Win 10 PC
I am not sure if it is similar in Astroberry but it could be the "modemmanager" taking control of the /dev/ttyACM* or /dev/ttyUSB* devices. If so, you can remove "modemmanager" with "sudo apt-get remove modemmanager", if I remember the command correctly. The other thing could be related to the udev rules file for Teensy devices. You will find info on www.pjrc.com/teensy/td_download.html under the Linux udev rules link: www.pjrc.com/teensy/49-teensy.rules.
Enjoy your OnStep controller now, and clear skies to you and everyone as we don't know how long we are going to be restricted in our travels and happenings.
I´m not able to adjust the slew rate via indi control panel and also not with kstars Mount control.
In indi-control panel I can see "Setting Max Slew Rate to (1...9)", but this is not adjusted in Onstep himself.
The only thing that works is, when I use the Onstep App and adjust the speed at Guide/Focus there.
My Setup:
RPI4 with Astroberry and SSD, the Onstep MiniPCB2 (Teensy 3.2)
SX-CCD and the UPB Powerbox.
KStars for Windows 3.4.1 on my Win 10 Laptop
Both connected via GBit Lan
No error-messages at all.
