I just tested on a VM, and it indeed crashes when trying to connect. However building from source does not have the same problem. libindi was just updated, so the package will rebuilt automatically by tomorrow hopefully after which I will check again.

I checked today on 14.04 and no crash, at least on connect. Please let me know how it goes.
