Hello everyone! If somebody can help me with the issue. My setup: Windows, Kstars/Ekos on Win, Rasp Pi3, QHY 5M as a guiding cam.
Trying to Start guiding, and always have the same message:
GUIDE_RA: Scope cannot reach the start point after 30 iterations. Possible mount or drive problems...
RA drifting reverse...
RA drifting forward...
Calibration started.
Auto star selected.
Trying both via mount (as i think form ekos) and via camera itself. sometimes i see that the star is moving. If im trying to do guiding on Win+PHD2 everything goes well.
When you run the calibration, is your mount tracking? Check that the RA stays constant to make sure it's tracking. Try to increase pulse time under Options. I presume you have ST4 cable from QHY to your mount?
Hello Jasem!
1) mount is tracking. Should it be tracking while calibration or not?
2) i tried both QHY+QHY (via ST4 as i think) and QHY + mount (via mount driver as i think) variants
3) @Check that the RA stays constant@ - does it mean that RA should not change while calibration
1. Install TeamViewer so I can login and check the issue directly. OR
2. Turn on Guide & INDI logging under KStars Options --> Advanced and also QHY Debug logging under INDI Control Panel --> QHY --> Options.
Jasem i will be testing tonight if the werather will be ok. It will about 10-11PM Is that Ok to you to connect in this time? If yes- how can i send you TV login and pswd? Do you have skype or whatsapp?
If not - i will try to collect logs for you.
