I had similar problem with my Canon 6D. The issue was solved setting the rigth oarameters for the frame/ sensor (higth= 3648, width= 5472, pixel size= 6,54), in the camera driver => options and image setting tabs.
Regards.
I can't see how to get to the driver settings without connecting the camera first. The INDI control panel is greyed out in Ekos and the settings are not available without a device connected. But if I connect the camera, kstars crashes without a trace.
How did you get past this problem? How did you access the driver parameters ?
Scott,
You must set your equipment profile in order to connect it manually, not automatically , when Ekos starts. So, when Ekos starts, all equipment drivers will not be connected until you do it mannually. In this step, you can try to connect the camera driver and set tthe sensor parameters. After that, all drivers must be connected.
Regards.
PD: Sorry for my English.
