I have a couple of issues with the current Indi Driver for the Celestron CGEM mount. One, I am experiencing latency in using the mount motion control panel which did not exist in earlier versions of Astroberry (although I am not using Astroberry now, but running Kstars 3.6.9 on a Raspberry pi 4 running Ubuntu 22.04LTS). I would like to add diagnostics to the Mount driver to try and determine the cause of this latency. Two, the current PEC recording only includes one cycle of the PEC curve. I would like to increase to multiple cycles.

I believe I have found the Celestron mount driver .cpp and .h files in the Indilib. I am familiar with C++ and the corresponding .h files as I have extensively modified files for an Allsky camera. My questions are: has anyone tried modifying these driver files and what advice can they give in terms of how to recompile them after modification and where are they located in the system.
