Hello, i'm new and have been using astroberry since yesterday. the software is great. setting it up has worked out well so far. unfortunately i can't find a driver for my eos 4000d. does anyone have a solution for me?
best regards Mani
You're not trying to control the camera over WiFi by chance, are you? It will only work over USB.
Also, I found that if I have my WiFi SD card (an SD card that adds WiFi capability to my camera) installed, I can't connect. I have to remove the card from the camera.
I'm sorry, I'm out of ideas. It works with my Canon 500D, 7D, and 7D Mk II. It's possible that you need to update your libgphoto2 library in Astroberry. libgphoto2 is the backend that INDI uses to communicate with DSLRs. Maybe your camera is newer than the version that comes with Astroberry. I don't know what version it comes with.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me will be able to help.
