I can't connect to the QHY CFW3 filter wheel. I reset the manufacturers button to connect via USB. I know it is getting power but the System port scan only shows Bluetooth and an option via my phone. Hopefully it is just a configuration issue I have incorrect.
This is the same for 3.1.0 and 3.0.0
I downloaded and installed the updated Silicon Labs VCP driver and now when I type ' ls /dev/tty* 'it shows up in the OSX Terminal as a connected device and also shows up in the Connection options tab in EKOS, but it still fails to connect. It says the Firmware must be higher than 201409. When I connect the filter wheel it to ASCOM it says the Firmware is 20181114. Same issue is in 3.0.0 and 3.1.0
I am not sure why and hopefully it is an easy fix on your end, but thanks for the suggestion. I had tried using this driver in the past but that was before updating the VCP drivers.
edit: It does not remember the number of filter slots whenever I reconnect it. I set it at 7 and then save configuration, after I disconnect and reconnect it returns to 5.

Also, I noticed in the log above that handshake is spelled "Hankshake". I roughly know what "handshake" is, but I have never heard of a "Hankshake" when trying to pair devices. Could this have something to do with why it would connect?
I just downloaded and installed 3.1.1. CFW3 still will not connect. Spelling error for Handshake is corrected, but it gives a Timeout error and says I need aFirmware higher than 20149. CFW2 wheel connects immediately, but now only recognizes 5 slots. This CFW3(M) size wheel can be configured with 5 slot 50mm or 7 slot 36mm. I have the 7 slot version.
