I was trying to start a connection between my smartphone camera, via IP Webcam app (android), choosing "connection" as "IP Camera", but there is no way to start, even if all seems ok in configuration.
I tried also using PHD2, with no result.
May be a problem in INDI Server or something similar?
Everything works fine, connecting to the camera via web browser inside the lan.
Has anyone experience?
Thanks!
I am using KStars 3.3.9 on MACbook pro
And there is another thing. I installed also KStars 3.4.1 but with this version there is no more the INDI webcam driver in the list.
So, when I starts KStars 3.3.9 I can use webcam (but IP Camera won't work). Instead, using KStars 3.4.1, when I search in the list, I cannot t find the driver (or, better, it appears at the end of the list) and when I start EKOS, an alert message appears telling: "driver indi_webcam_ccd was not found on the system ..."
Thanks!
It was simple: you have to use a different syntax.
I am using "IP Webcam". The correct syntax is ": [port]/video".
For instance, if the port is 8080, then "ip.address:8080/video"
Without "/video", nothing works
