Could you test it on your PC running linux? e.g. with a VirtualBox. We're using the latest libs from Atik, which seem to support your camera, but maybe there are some differences with Raspberry Pi.
I installed Ubuntu 16.04 on my laptop (additional HD).
As there are no linux drivers available on Atik service pages I switched to indilib.org - Downloads- Ubuntu-
and installed INDI Library stable release and Kstars-bleeding.
Result: No Atik cameras detected.Power on?
After installing Nightly PPA builds.
Result: Same report!
Under Windows 10 Horizon II works flawles with Atik Programs (Infinity, Dusk) or with ASCOM (Phd2).

This would suggest this camera is not supported by SDK (software development kit) provided by ATIK. We use binary libraries from Atik and have no control over what they support.
Could you write a message to Atik with questions if linux libraries they provide with SDK (x86, x64, ARM) support Atik Horizon II?
I'm not surprised that Atik came through, I've worked with Atik and they are good guys. They listen to thier customers and respond positively.
I wrote the original ASCOM driver for them and each AstroFest Steve Chambers (Atik CEO) and I would meet. We would ask each other if they had heard anything from our customers about how it was working. The answer was always no, nothing. So all we could assume was that either it was working perfectly or no one was using it At least we cared.
Atik driver is already updated in the sources. It will take a few days to be included in live updates of Astroberry. In the meantime anyone can recompile from sources (both libatik and indi-atik).
I have a few issues for which I will post PR or support requests :
- sometimes the device will return zeroed frames, only resolved by device power cycle (seen when connecting/disconnecting multiple times).
- even illumination option is not available.
- controlling power supply with USB cord attached is not always successful, sometimes the device is not properly enumerated.
- fast mode option is not available.
I plan to prepare a proof-of-concept for EAA with this camera, but with 7 seconds to download frames on my setup, that will require patience
github.com/indilib/indi-3rdparty/pull/170 provides Even Illumination, Gain/Offset Presets, Pad Data and partial Exposure Speed support, and also expands the exposure range.
